Each Athlete has two values that you need to know about:
Book Value and Market Value.

Book Value is an objective measure of how well an Athlete is performing during a season. It will change with each game, match or tournament.

An Athlete’s value on the market is reflected via the current Bid and Ask.

You will use your knowledge, intuition and foresight to evaluate who’s a good buy and who’s overpriced on the market. And at the end of the season, any shares you own will be cashed out at the Athletes Book Value. Having to navigate these two values injects a ton of fun into Trading Players, and adds another dimension beyond what standard fantasy sports games offer.
